I'd suggest that you use the original but you aren't likely to have it. I figured that you'd have the 3415.
These amps draw a lot of current when powering up. Are you sure that it's more than normal? Do you see more than a few millivolts across the 1 ohm resistors near the FET?

When trying to power it up it will draw 60 amps of current and continue to draw 60 amps of current so something is shorted somewhere..
Guess i will start checking components to see if i can find the problem |
