Default mb quart 1500
i have one of these and it plays very faintly. everything seems to be in order. what should i be looking for?

On the output terminals of the output filter inductor, do you see a larger signal than you do at the speaker terminals?

Is the relay engaging?

yes the signal at the filter inductor is good and larger. the signal at the speaker is very distorted square wave.

yes the relay is engaging. the amp has very little output.

If there is good signal on the output filter inductor before the relay but not after the relay and it's engaging, the relay is likely defective or could have a bad solder connection.

yes. the relay and the diode had bad joints. plays fine now. thank u mr perry!
