Hello,

Working on a Memphis 16-PR1KD. A few months ago I replaced all the audio output drivers & associated parts that were overheating, but after testing, on certain peaks the Over-Current protection triggers. Definitely should not be going into over current when it does.

Otherwise the amp plays fine even at high power into a 1-ohm (speaker) load, clean solid output, just certain kick drums & low freqs trigger the over current, not even pushed quite to clipping sometimes. If I recall, it even did it when wired to 4-ohm.

The only substitutions I made were as follows: (could this be an issue or should I look further into the protection circuit?)

Q18 & 19: original C3200, I installed 2SC2240’s
Q33: original C3227, I installed a BC639
Q21: original A1275, I installed a KSA1220A

Any info on this would be appreciated, thank you.
