anyone have a schematic for this amp? some traces burnt and someone jumped them to other spots. i need to make sure it right before i go any further. thanks.
im waiting to hear back from them. i found the voltage regulators were shorted across and two op amps got hot.would a bad op amp blow the voltage regulators?
ok the dont give there schematics to no one i guess. the amp seems to have a problem with the voltage regulators. the 78 and 79 were shorted across all legs. i pulled the op amps. they are shorted across pins 1 and 8. just trying to see make sure im testing it right.
Those are not 1 and 8, those are 1 and 9. The ICs have 9 pins. This is normal. They allow you to pass positive supply voltage through the IC which helps with tight layouts.
