im repairing one of these amps and it has fqp85n06 in the power supply with 22ohm gate resistors. iv'e never seen this one these amps. i used 47ohm resistors with irfz44 and they over heat. just want to make sure this amp is suppose to have 22ohm gate resistors.

22 ohm gate resistors will not cause the Z44s to overheat. There is likely another problem.
How fast do they heat up? What's the current draw when they heat up?

i just seen the drivers they were cracked. i couldn't see until i removed the board.
