Working on a JL Audio 300/4 with a different IC for U504 should be the same as U505 a 74VHC112 Dual J-K Flip-Flop but has by the part number on it a 74AHC132 QUADRUPLE POSITIVE-NAND GATES
WITH SCHMITT-TRIGGER INPUTS by Texas Instruments. Unless the number I used from the IC is not the right one to use for look-up this cannot be a cross replacement for the 74VHC112 Dual J-K Flip-Flop. The amp I got used and may have been worked on before although the solder joints on U504 looked like they were wave soldered not hand soldered.

Confused on this, anyone have seen this? Is it the wrong IC for U504? Picture attached.

After some more research I answered my own question, U504 is supposed to be a 74AHC132.
