Anyone have a pic of the board around the SG3525 ??


Or possibly know the value of R72 ?

The orginal power supply fets are P50N06'S with10 ohm gate resistors..


If i switch the fets over to IRF3205's would i need to change the value of the gate resistors and if so what value ??


The drivers for the power supply are 2N4401 and 2N4403

Can you be a bit more specific about the location of R72?

I got the schematic of a similar amp (125Wx2).

If you change to IRF3205, 47R is a good gate value.

I was going thru my stuff and found some STP60N06'S

Would thoose work better then the 3205's as replacements for the
STP50N06'S ??


If so would i need to change the value of the gate resistors from 10 ohms ??

The 10 ohm gate resistors will work with any of the FETs you listed.

If you're looking for the value of a burned resistor near the PS driver IC, it's likely one of the two resistors that are connected to the output pins of the IC. It's a low value resistor (100 ohms or less). Find the one connected to the other output pin of the IC to get the value.
