Default parts replacment

i was doing a little browsing about the ktc 3228 since they dont sell. and found the 2sc2383 which looks like a direct replacement the specs are almost exact. would this be a replacement?

Is that not a 2SC3228 just supplied by a different manufacturer.

I cant find 2SC3228 either.

I don't know. I came across some Toshiba support site and the were talking about using that part as a direct replacement.
