Default CD Stacker Overhaul - reccomended parts to renew?

Hello,

I've got a stacker from a 1992 Lexus LS400 (Pioneer CDX-M9751zt), there is something wrong with it and am looking for a few repairers at the moment who repair Pioneer stackers / have experience in it. Other than getting the current fault fixed, while I am getting a stacker repaired, what parts are common to fail due to wear and tear in CD Stackers that should be replaced. After a chat with one of the techs at the pioneer head office pretty much summed it upto --- Spindle and Motor would be worth replacing while the stacker is there

I asked about the laser but from what he concluded it should only be replaced if it's problematic, but I would assume over time they get weak or is it generally not much of an issue?

AlthoughI know different stackers have different parts etc, if any of you guys have had experience with many stacker repairs or have had failures of your own.... which parts is a good idea to get replaced while I am getting a fault fixed with a stacker (other than the faulty part).

Thanks.
