Unhappy water damaged pioneer carrozzeria

someone gave me a pioneer carrozzeria car stereo but according to owner it's water damaged totally submerged in a fllod with his car.is there a possibility that this stereo goes back to work?someone pls.help

The answare is YES, but usualy it is to expensive and complicated to repair and one new it is maybe cheaper.

Good quality photos of both sides of the board would be required to see the extent of the damage.

Odd/interesting fact for you carrozzeria is apparently how the Japanese understand us when we say "Car Stereo"

OMG, thats terrible. I know they sell replacement parts for the P99RS which is very similar.

Good deal^ Great stereo. Though not neccessarily the unit the guy has-they make loads of carrozzeria branded units..

Interesting, but I'm not so sure about that - more likely a reference to the Italian term for an automotive body shop - I recall the term applied to prestigious design houses like Pininfarina and others. (Spent some time in Italy as a kid, but my Italian is more than a bit rusty.)

I googled carrozzeria pininfarina and this is where it took me: Pininfarina
