Default AQ2200 protection tripping

This amp will run fine for 10 minutes until the input signal is turned off or interrupted. When this happens the over current protection is tripped on the DWM1216 board. I have never had this before, thoughts?

Does it do it with no speakers connected?

Does it do it if you simply set the volume to zero?

It will do it only when my scope is across the output/load. I ran it on my bench for over an without it tripping, as soon as I touched scope gnd protection tripped.
Going to install in my car and try to reproduce the failure.
