Its been awhile since i worked on one of theese can u post a photo of the board and i can tell you what needs to be replaced and give you the part numbers

Try replacing the two transistors in the rectangle in the attached photo.

If you have to order them, order both the MMBTA42 and the MMBTA92.

Post links for the datasheets for the two transistors and indicate where they're being used in the amp.

If I remember correctly that is one of the drive transistors in the power supply

KTC3228 datasheet pdf datenblatt - KEC(Korea Electronics) - EPITAXIAL PLANAR NPN TRANSISTOR (COLOR TV VERTICAL DEFLECTION OUTPUT, COLOR TV CLASS B SOUND OUTPUT) ::: ALLDATASHEET :::

i only suggested 2sc2383 because while searching for ktc3228 it had it as an alternative. I cant find that web page nor do i know if its creatable.

Ktc3228 is in q288 location on the board. Pin 1 is tied in with 2 resistors and a cap that leads to the source of 3 output transistors q220 221 222. Pin 3 is tied in with the side of the cap and resistors.
