Hi I am new here and was referred by a person on another site
I am looking for an experienced technician to replace and upgrade the power supply and change out the excessive sub gain control on a car audio processor. A few years ago we were able to lower the noise floor on this piece but it is still a problem. I do not have schematics but I figured that a good tech could do this rather easily and possible upgrade some of the other internals if deemed beneficial Any assistance with finding a good tech would be much appreciated. Thanks. |

Hello dhg,
I had the exact same problem and I just contacted Pioneer Customer Support and they will direct you to the right place. They sent someone out to my house in less than 7 days. It took only 15 minutes to replace the entire power supply module and now i an so happy with their service. |

What piece of equipment (make/model)?
How do you define 'excessive sub gain control'?
