Are these the PNP driver transistors for the power supply (collector connected to ground)?
If so, the MMBTA56 will work.

Q02 has its collector connected to ground so thats a MMBTA56
Q11 has its base connected to ground Q05 appears to be the same as Q02 .. Q05 is marked ASG any ideas on a part number for it ? Theese are the power supply drivers Q11 has its base connected to Leg 3 of the 3205's Q02 has its collector connected to leg 3 of the 3205 Last edited by mike49504; 19th February 2012 at 06:16 AM. |

The A56 can be used in place of the ASG in the power supply.
Are you sure that the base of Q11 is connected to ground (leg 3 of the 3205)?

Base (top pin) shows 000.2 ohms to leg 3 of the 3205

Is that with the transistor out of the circuit?
Do you read the same from the collector leg of that transistor?

That transistor is out of circuit since it was defective and badly burned..
From the collector (3rd leg) to the 3205's 3rd leg i get 46.7K ohms Q05 has its base connected to the 3rd leg of the 3205 also and i get the same readings off that transistor as well and its marked ASG So im assuming Q11 and Q05 are both the same.. Is this the pin configuration that you're using?

No ..
If thats the right order then Q11's collector would go to ground Q02's emitter would go to ground and leg3 of the 3205 I looked at the board at Q05 and Q11 should be the same Marked ASG Q02 and Q26 are the same marked ALG So the MMBTA56's should work in both locations correct ? The ALG is likely a KTC3875S. An MMBTA06 would be an OK sub.
