When i removed the bottom cover i noticed D1 was unsolderd from the board..
I soldered it back down .. All outputs, source resistors, and rca shields test fine.. When i power it up it idles perfectly.. I get 0.00 volts across the speaker output terminals When i connect a speaker to it the amp starts drawing excessive current and the speaker flutters .. Any ideas where to begin looking? |

Have you checked the RCA ground pins to the board to see if they are broken?
D1 will probably need replacing it is the IN4003 correct?

I have had D7 fail before on many amps and the speaker flutters and the amp produced alot of feedback. I usually relace D1 and D7 just for good measure.
Alot of times D7 tends to fail after the ground pins on the RCA plugs has been broken. Maybe just a coincidence not sure.
