Im only getting 4.37 volts on pins 8 and 11 of the 494
Any ideas? |

What about the rest of the pins? Most times 8,11 are tied to +12 not always. Depends if they sink or source. 4.37 seems correct if you have a square wave on them.

8 and 11 are tied to the + 12 vots so there is something wrong since i only have 4 volts on pins 8 and 11

Pin 1:0.76 Pin 2:2.69 Pin 3:0.06 Pin 4:0 Pin 5:1.03 Pin 6:2.30 Pin 7:0 Pin 8:3.93 Pin 9:1.72 Pin 10:1.49 Pin 11:3.99 Pin 12:5.02 Pin 13:3.99 Pin 14:4.02 Pin 15:4.00 Pin 16:4.37 I also noticed Q1 has been meesed with at some point Its a B694.. Trace pin 12 back and find out why 12V isn't present or lift it and see if it returns.

Anyone have a schematic for this amp ?
Or that can point me in the right direction i checked alot of stuff but i must be missing something since i dont get 12 volts on the 494 no lights no nothing |

Ok Pin 12 connects to the middle leg of a B694 transistor..
Heres the voltages i get on the B694 Pin 1:13.92 Pin 2:0 Pin 3:13.89 |

If that transistor isn't shorted from 1-3m follow the circuit back from pin 3. IT should go through a resistor and to an NPN transistor. Post the voltage on that NPN transistor.

What connects to pin 1? That should be pulled low, maybe by another transistor?
