Location q9901-05 irf3205pb. Digikey has a 3205pbf, is it the same part?

I've never seen PB without the F. Was it possibly truncated because there wasn't enough space on the transistor?

I would think that they're the same part. The PBF part is lead free.

Ok, i got this amp from a friend. I don't know how it went out but when i opened it all the output fets were toast. The only thing ive done so far is remove them. When power is applied the blue l.e.d's light up and one switches to red. The gate leads are getting 13 volts but i didn't pick up a pulse.

If you have 13v on the gates and the drains and 0v on the source, the FETs are defective.

I simulated power (4v) to r9708 which is before pin 1 of ic9701. The red fault light went off and I was able to pick up a pulse on the gate.
