Got this amp in and the guy told me when he hooked it up to his head unit it fried it..
I placed the black meter probe on amps ground terminal and red probe on the RCA shield and i have 45 volts on the RCA shields.. Any ideas where to look ? |

I can't think of any single common fault that would cause that. Look the amp over carefully to see if there are any strands of wire or anything else that's not right.
