does anyone know the part numbers of the 2 diodes at the power terminals, of this amp? or a part number that will work?

1N5402. There is likely a burned trace under the board also.

ok here is my problem , I have replaced all power fets and the 2 diodes at the terminals and amp acts like its shorted out even after replacing the diodesi checked the transformer it seems to be ok but i could be wrong , any suggestions? btw if i pull all the fets which all check good it then isnt shorted across the B+ and ground

after checking again it seems to kill the first power fet in the group but will power up with that one removed from the board

Check the value of the gate resistor for the FETs that are failing.

Make sure you have continuity from the gate resistor to the gate lead.
|
