Default parts question

im rebuilding a driver card and i cant find a data sheet on this ic. it has 45800 jcr027a on it?

It's likely an NJM4580D. They rarely fail if this is one of the clone amps.

These rarely need anything more than replacing Q124 and Q125. If you have the DVD, read the Generic Class D - Type 2 page.

ok. i got the amp working. i pulled out the old power bass to to compare some reading since its the same amp. i came across an ic.kia393p that receiving 50v. the max is 18-36. could that have been the issue?

The 393 is likely on the negative rail. Measure the DC voltage with the black probe on pin 4 and the red probe on pin 8.

one reads 25v+ the other 0.5v+

How can you have two voltages with the probes on the points as described?

Did you place the black probe on pin 4 of the IC that you were measuring the voltage on?

Which one had 25v?
