Default What crossover freq. should I use for front door speaker

I am looking at the SEAS H1488 L16RNX 5", Seas suggest cross at 2k, will it be too low for the front door? I found other brands cross at 2.5k-4k normally, anyone can help

I take it you mean the upper crossover freq? What tweeter are you crossing it with and what processing do you have available? Active or passive crossover?
