Hi I have a mtx thunder 7801 L400 and L401 coils are heated without audio is this normal

They will heat up. Sometimes, the idle temperature is greater than the temperature when the amp is being driven because the fans don't operate at idle.
Of course, they should not get so hot that they are causing damage to the enamel insulation or melting the solder on the board.
