I am doing my first ever amp repair on a Profile 400SX, 400watt amp. I took covers off and looked it over. Everything looked good except a small part marked "TH1" which is soldered to the PCB board, and looks like it is supposed to be connected to the chassis on the other end of part by a screw. The end by the screw is broke and there is no way to reconnect it that I can see. What exactly is this part called, and where can I get one? Thanks in advance for your help!

It's a thermistor. The spade terminal isn't likely to be an electrical connection. There should be two wires on it soldered to the board.

Thanks for the reply Perry. Yes, there is two wires on it and it is soldered to the board. The other end is like a little black blob, for lack of a better term. So, I'm assuming, the screw hole beside it on the chassis is just to hold down the board? The screw was missing from that hole. Thanks!

Yes. It's supposed to be held tightly against the heatsink so that it can sense the temperature of the amp. You can use a different type of hold-down to keep it on the heatsink.
