Its actually 2N4403 you have to many 4's in the part number you listed.

All of those are the same 2N4403 part number

Try using MMBT4403 when looking up the part. They are all SOT23 package and from what I could find: PNP 80V 100Ma

If you have any MMBTA56s on hand, they will generally serve as a suitable substitute for the 4403.

How are they being used in the amp?

yes.the output drive transistors. one side of out puts works as it should. the other side is making the speaker osc really bad. all 640's are brand new

The a42 is a slower transistor and may run hotter. I'd suggest that you wait and get all of the correct parts for this amp. Class D amps can be finicky and using subs (especially multiple subs) could cause problems. The problems may not be immediately apparent and could cause reliability issues later. If the amp is unreliable or fails while testing, you won't know if it's the drivers or something else.
