directed 2400

i got this amp.the older one.im rebuilding the amp but it uses fb3n120d where the 640s would be. could i replace them with 640s?

The 640 isn't generally a good sub for the IRFB31N20D.

should they be there? i never seen a amp use 9640s and IRFB31N20D as output transistors

I'm not familiar with this particular amp but there are plenty of amps that use the IRFB31N20D and the IRF9640 in the output stage.

Are the solder connections the original (flow soldered) solder connections?

yes they are original. just wanted to be sure. its the same as the orange flame 2000 mojo amp.the preamp stage is just different.
