To keep from jumping the Dr Zeus thread, I'll start my own.
R101, C101 by the RCA jacks are cooked. Any idea on values? Cory |

Is it possible to populate only a portion of the P.S. fets? All of the outputs are pulled, just to check functionality of the supplies. There seems to be two banks of fets Q313-323 and Q413-423, two transformers and 4 rectifiers. Two supplies??

At the minimum, you need to have one FET per primary winding.
I don't remember what the amp looks like but if it has two transformers, it likely has two independent power supplies.

I have the power supplies running with only have of the fets, fine for now. I am looking for 1023 and 1027 transistors from the driver board. There are resistors and transistors bad on this card, basically just want to replace all of the discretes. Should I be looking for another name 2sc1027? Avnet, mcm and digikey do not have them.

I generally use the BD139 and BD140 as replacements for power supply drivers when those transistors fail.
If there is a K as the logo, the part number is likely KT... instead of 2S...

Fairchild has a cross of KSA916 and KSC2316, this would be for the output stage.
KSA916---->KTA1023 KSC2316---->KTC1027 The BD139 and BD140 will work for the output stage as well? |

If it's for the output stage, use the fairchild components if they're identical to the originals.

Any ideas what value R173 is; on the driver board. R172 is a 550ohm and I believe R173 should be the same except it was fried beyond recognition.

560 ohms.
If you have the DVD, the photos of a similar board are linked under item 12 on the class D - type 2 page.
