It could be shutting down due to the limiter. Try connecting to the power supply via a 15 amp fuse but watch the current draw and the temperature of the outputs very carefully. Be ready to immediately disconnect it. When you check to to see if it shuts down, only play it for a couple of seconds at a time.
without the limiter audio is not cuting in and out again.The amp does not power up somtimes.I get 16v on the gnd and B+.My power supply is 12.6v.when i switch of the power supply am still get 16v on gnd and B+.if i dischare the caps the amp comes on with 11.2v on gnd and B+.Is this an indication of bad caps?.
with black probe on amp ground terminal i get 16v and amp will not power on.I i leave it connected for about 60 seconds it will power up.The cap dont discharge sometimes.If they get discharge, when i switch the power supply off it will power up the next time i switch on the power supply.If the caps dont get discharge it will not power on
Measure the DC voltage directly across the 0.1 ohm resistors. Set the bias so that you have ~0.001v DC.
