Default Rockford punch 201S

I got a punch 201S amp recently currently waiting for it to come. Anyway I was told the power supply is blown and I have some IRFZ44 mosfets on hand and I'd like to know if those would work for the power supply? And possibly with out changing the gate resistors. I don't really know how badly it's damaged but if it wasn't I wonder if I can use those for a sub? Thanks!

P.s this site should have a mobile version? Would be nice (:

In at least some of these amps, the IRF3205 was the original. If this is your amp and you don't intend to sell it, you can use the Z44s but they won't take as much abuse as the 3205s. You can use the original gate resistors if they have not failed but they generally fail.

Okay, where some ever BUZ103 or BUZ100? And is the 201s similar to a 160a2? Or no? I'm talking about the circuit board? Same amount of output devices & power supply devices.

I'm talking about the 160a2 vs the 201s, are these nearly indectical? Because I noticed that the 2003 models look similar the 1999 or 2000 models. I had a 401s that had a similar circuit board as a 360a2 (same amount of outputs & power supply). Did they use the 99 circuit boards in the 03 amps? Like the 801s also looks like a 800a2 internally.

Oh not even close to a 160! This one has the regulators. Thanks perry! One more request from you, do you have a picture of the guts of a punch 360.6 (6 channel amp). Thanks again! Also will report back when I receive my 201s.
