Default Lanzar Vibe 256

Got this in for repair..

From what i noticed so far is the plastic around the power ,remote, ground terminals is melted And the rca jacks are also melted..

The guy showed me his rca cables and the were also melted at the amp and at the head unit...

Could this be caused by a bad ground connection to the amp/ chasis ground of the car ??

It sounds like a shorted transformer (primary to secondary).
