Audiopipe AP10001D
Outputs check good in this amp..

When i power it up and place black meter probe on output - terminal and
red probe on + output terminal i get - 2.62 volts ..

They guy said if he hooks up a sub to it it makes the sub flutter ..

Any ideas??

Does it make a speaker flutter on the bench?

If so, does it act differently with the RCAs connected/disconnected?

it pushes the cone of the speaker outward with and without rcas plugged in

I cant get it to flutter but i can tell theres DC present by hooking a test speaker up.

Is there DC on the RCA shields?

Place the black meter probe on the amplifier's ground terminal.

No voltage at all on the rca shields

Is there DC on the output pins of any of the op-amps?

mike49504 11th August 2011 02:43 AM

U3 TLO74C Pin 16 has 2.37 volts on it ...

All other op-amps test fine

What's the DC voltage on pins 12 and 13?

P.S. only 14 pins.

Sorry meant pin 14..

Pin 12:0
Pin 13:0

More resolution is needed. Post the actual meter reading (3 decimal places).
