Each turn around the inductor is a bundle of multiple wires. Are only two individual wires burned or are two complete bundles burned?

Are the burned conductors on the terminal winding?

You may be able to use heatshrink tubing to insulate the burned windings.

STP75NF75s were used in some of them. I've never seen 3205s as original parts but I can't say they were never used.

Ok i remeber an amp that i had in at 1 point in time reading back through the threads.. The orginal part numbers were STP75NF75 with an 8 suffix..

I used 3205's to trouble shoot that amp and used the BD139's and 140's as replacements.. Then i stuck the STP75NF75's back in it after trouble shooting it..

Looks like someone replaced the orginals with 3205's in this amp And this amp has the orginal drivers still in it so i know its not the same one i worked on in the past...

Wondering if the 3205's would work in this amp or is that the reason it may have failed??

The 3205s should work.

The last character was likely an ampersand, not an 8.

Ok thanks..

Last question I told this guy i will not warranty my work at all since he insist's running this amp at 1/2 ohm . I told him its not 1/2 ohm stable but he told me it will work since hes got a big battery bank and multiple runs or 1/0 guage power and ground..

He said he was running at a 2 ohm load but is switching woofers and hes gonna run it at 1/2 ohm..

Is there anything i can do to this amp to try and help it surrive the 1/2 ohm load or not really??

Not really. Hopefully it will go into protect mode and not let him run it that way.

Before you repair it, tell him that you will show him that it works and that you will play it as long as needed to convince him that it's repaired but beyond that, there is absolutely no warranty. If he doesn't like that, reassemble it and give it back to him, broken.
