Are they clamped tightly to the heatsink?

Do they heat up at idle (clamped to the heatsink)?

What work have you done to the amp?

How much current is it drawing?

How much voltage is there across the emitter resistors (all 4 resistors)?

You'll have to remove the preamp board to get to two of the resistors.
