Can you zero either channel with the shunts removed (only remove one at a time) and monitor the temperature of the outputs if you don't have clamps on the power transistor.

Left channel i got down to 0.08 volts on the outputs..

Right channel Wont drop any lower the 1.5 volts..


I added that 100 ohm resistor to the points marked in the photo is there a better way of fixing this problem so i dont have to cut into the driverboard?

Just asking because the guy will open this amp up and cry about the repair it it doesnt look factory

The only way is to replace the driver board which is ~$30 plus shipping. If he won't accept that resistor as it is, we may as well wait until you get a new driver board before we do anything else.
