I am trying to revive my buddies earthquake 200 dhc mark 2 amplifier and I noticed there is a small green inductor on the board with radial leads and one of the legs has snapped off right at the inductor. I'd like to replace it but am having trouble finding concrete answers as to what the value is. The top is marked 102 and that's all I have to go on. Does anyone know what value the code indicates?
Probably 1mH. Don't buy an RF choke. They may not be able to handle the current. Buy one that's at least as large (overall) as the one you have (larger inductors will typically have larger wire, all else being equal). I think this likely supplies power to several of the ICs including the 4080.
