Default Pioneer GM-X924 owners manual

Hi,

does anyone have a user manual for a GM-X924 ? Pioneer web site only offers a quick-spec datasheet and the European helpdesk doesn´t offer older model´s literature.

It seems that the amp can not only be bridged (channel 1+2 / 3+4) for more output power , it seems that it is also possible to put channels 1+3 / 2+4 in parallel for 1 Ohm loads

Thanks,
Stephan

Looking at the service manual, I don't think that's possible.

Hi Perry,

as far as I know Pioneer is US - engineered ? I know you guys can and do create fabulous things but sometimes engineers come up with something .... let´s say "weird"

I found a 924 user manual and , in deed, it is possible to "interconnect" channels 1+3 , as well as 2+4 . That´s what Pioneer calls a " 2 channel stereo mode" ..... who ever it needs ...

But could you do me a favour? As you mentioned you have the service manual : Idle current is set while using a 1kOhm resistor on the inputs and a 4 ohm load connected to the outputs like other Pioneer models ? If so, could you tell me the idlöe current value and the voltage output of the SMPS ?

Thanks again,
Stephan

Initially, it sounded like you wanted to add the output stages together to act as a single, low impedance channel. Similar to what some of the ESX amps could do. That diagram simply shows bridging.

Email me if you want the service manual.
