Default MTX TC 3002

This amp is in protection mode All the power light does is blink every now and then..


The outputs are out of the amp right now because i found a bad emitter resistor and wanted to rule the outputs out as the fault..

Heres what i get on the 494


Pin 1ulsing

Pin 4:4.94

Pin 6:3.34

Heres what i have on the 339

Pin 1:0.07
Pin 2:4.91

Pin 4:0.06

Pin 10:4.95
Pin 11:8.27
Pin 12:0

Any Ideas?

I have no information on this amp but going by notes on other MTX amps, I'd guess that the fault is triggering the 339 on pin 6. I think this is likely the thermal protection input from the transistors that are driven by the thermistors. This is nothing more than an educated guess. Photos may help if you can't trace the fault out from the information above.

So back track from Pin 6n the 339 ??

I replaced the transistors that go to the thermistor and still the same amps goes into protection

Is there anything else connected to the trace that goes to pin 6?
