Hello everyone.
I have a Power 1100a2 for repair. This amp was a mess. Complete power supply rebuild, all is well with that. One channel was completely fried. Rebuilt channel completely and everything is working great, amp sounds good and has clean signal on outputs. My question????? I remember Perry saying in a post that parallel outputs must match. So this means you could use 2 different brands in the same channel but the opposite channel has to have the same brand you put in the repaired channel? Is this because of bridging? I used IRF640 by "IR" and the only IRF9640 I had were fairchild fets. Does this mean I have to put the same fairchild IRF9640's in the opposite channel?

They don't have to match unless they're parallel. The ones in the two channels don't have to match each other.

So I used 5 IRF640 by "IR" and 5 IRF9640 by "fairchild" in the repaired channel. So the amp is clean and working great. I am ok to leave the other channel alone and everything should be fine?
Do I have to use fairchild IRF640's in the repaired channel to match the fairchild IRF9640's, or is everything ok how I have it?

Leave the other channel as it is.
The 640s and the 9640s are not in parallel.
