Damn SPL Dynamics amp dead after shock!

If you get a steady tone (same as touching the probes together) in any combination, the transistor has shorted. This is not good because virtually every time that an output shorts, the driver IC on the driver board fails. This would require quite a bit more time and skill and may be beyond the abilities of someone new to amp repair. If you make one mistake or miss one defective component, all of the outputs could fail the instant that the amp is powered up.

Are you willing to risk destroying multiple sets of outputs?

Are you capable of replacing the surface mount driver IC on the audio driver board?
