Default help rockford bd15001

hi, i got this amp this morning and when i power up i got 20volts on the speaker terminal and when i plug the remote out the amp looks like is still on but the protection led turns on. its only turn off after remove the battery cable. i checked all output transistor and all look fine.

Do you have positive or negative 20v on the positive speaker terminal?

What is the DC voltage on all pins of U17?

What is the DC voltage measured directly across the red and black twisted wires?

there is 28.5v positive speaker terminal

2;8.3
3;0
4;-9.7
5;0
6;1.1
7;9.8
8;0

there is 71volt across the red and black twisted wires

That op-amp appears to be defective.

u17 replaced, now when i turn on, there isn't any voltage on speaker terminal but the amp gets on protected mode and stay on after remove the remote cable

It appears to be in over-current protection. Are you sure that there are no shorted output transistors?

Do you read 0 ohms across R160 (large SMD resistor on the corner of the board)?

If yes to both of these, post the voltage on U18.
