Default Interfire ifd1000 no sound

1000watt rms interfire, just bought it used. powers up, but has no sound. everything is wired correct, good ground, no blown fuses. when hooked up originally it took about 30 seconds before it turned on for the first time, now it still it takes a few seconds to turn on compared to my speaker amp. I took the top 2 fuses out and for some reason after that the subs came on for about 10 seconds, and sounded good, then i went back there and pretty much just touched the amp and it went out....

now every now and then it will pop on for a second then stop if i jiggle it.

I looked at the board and theirs no visible burn marks or obvious failures.

any chance it could be something simple before i file a claim with paypal and try to get my money back?
