HI TO ALL.
I HAVE THIS CAR AMPLIFIER THAT A FRIEND GIVE TO ME. I DONT KNOW THE BRAND OR ANOTHER DETAIL. I SEARCH ON THE INTERNET BUT NOTHINK. ITS 6 CH -HI,MID,LOW. MY BROTHER WAS TRYING (I DONT KNOW WHAT) AND HE CONNECT THE HI OUTPUT OF THE CAR STEREO DIRECTLY TO THE PREAMP (I THINK) AND NOW THE NORMAL INPUT IS NOT OK. I MEAN I CONNECT THE THE AMP FROM THE OUTPUT STEREO AMP BUT NO AUDIO IS COMMING FROM THE AMP. I THINK THAT I BURNOUT THE ""KIA 4559 S "" BECAUSE THEY ARE THE FIRST INPUT IC BEFORE TRANSISTORS AND I HAVE TRY THE TRANSISTORS AND ARE OK I THINK. IF ANY ONE KNOW HOW TO TEST THE KIA4559S PLEASE ADVICE ME. PLEASE IF SOME BODY HAVE ANY IDEA HELP ME. ps: i have write another one in wrong section. |

It's unlikely that you have more than one defective. If you found a way to compare them and one was different, it's likely defective (assuming that it's from the same manufacturer). In general, the best way to test op-amps is in the circuit.

so, we have a kia 4558s dual side A snd B,
so your idea is that is unlike that i burnout more than 1 ic??? but "i" try on all low input the hi stereo output and i think that are all burn, this explain the fact that is no diference betwen -IN and +IN in both side and in all 10 circuits all the same and same manuf. regards |

Maybe the amp has a problem that affects all of the channels. Is it producing rail voltage?
Is it producing regulated ±15v on pins 5 and 9 of the op-amps?
