Im working on this amp to try and get theese amps i have here back to thier owners before i stop the repair business for other people.
Anyway, I replaced all of the outputs in this amp (irfz44's) and replaced the power supply fets. When i power up the amp a blue light come ons for a few secs then a red led lights. I have 1.49 volts on the output terminals. Any thoughts on where to check? |

Were the outputs blown?
If so, did you replace the driver IC (HIP40..?)?

Outputs were blown and wrong outputs were in the amp. (irfz48n) I replaced them with irfz44's (orginals) I also replaced the HIP4082 IPZ Chip . But if they are anything like the HIP4080's i could have a defective one not sure

I'd suggest that you pull the outputs so that you can confirm that all of the power supply voltages are present on the various ICs.
