This has me stumped & ?'ing the laws of pissic's! Sys is composed of head unit, EQ, 10" Pyle Tube w/ built in amp (don't buy this piece of garbage!), 4-ch Boss 350 amp, 4 6.5" FR Pio speakers... All the equipment works, I verified it all. The problem... the remote leads on both amps do not turn the amps on unless jump wired to the main B+ lead! I thought to create a dedicated remote turn-on lead via illum switch, but even that failed to turn on the amps!! What gives!, you tellin me both amps have faulty remote turn on leads!? , but work just fine when wired to the main power (which can't be left like that)... Do I have the switch connected right??:: Gold post - Connect to ignition power lead , 2nd post - remote turn on lead to amps , 3rd - ground.
What if I connected the remote turn on lead wire together with ignition power (post 1)? What other solution does the think-tank offer?? Thanks brothers...

The B+ terminal of the amp should be connected to a constant power source (the battery) via the proper size fuse.

You need to confirm that you have sufficient power supply voltage. With your multimeter set to DC volts, the black meter probe on the ground terminal of the amp (not on the point where the ground wire connected to the vehicle) and the head unit on (so the amp will have remote voltage applied), touch the red probe alternately to the B+ and remote terminals of the amp. If the voltage is below ~11 volts on either the B+ or remote line, you need to check the wiring feeding whichever line is too low. If 'both' the B+ and remote turn-on lines are low and your battery is fully charged, you may have a bad ground connection.
