after looking at a schematic for the deh-2959mp which someone told me it is the same with the 3050mp.i see that on cn651 pin one and two is at 7.5v and these two pins are connected to the emmiter of Q991 (D2375). i replace that transistor with a new one but no change.am geting 13.2v its collector and 0v on the base and the emmiter.
so i unsolder the emmiter and apply 7.6v using a regulator to the pad and now d cd part works.now am just tryin to find out why the 7.5v is missing, am blank |

Does pin 126 go to the base of Q992?
Does the collector of Q992 connect to the base of Q991?

Do you read 3.3v DC on any pin on the connector that connects the main and CD boards?

When you fed power directly to the CD player, did it work perfectly?
