Rockford Fosgate Subs ??

I just bought 2 12" subs from a guy for $20.00 He said they were older Rockford Fosgate subs. The dust caps have been replaced and no sticker on magnets either. The magent says SPP124 on them They are single 4 ohm coils.

My question is does anyone know about theese subs??

And would they be able to handle a Old Hifonics Zeus amp Series 8 ?

those are fosgate punch pro 12" subs.

They are pretty old school and decent entry level rockford subs at the time.

yeah you can use it with these subs, just have to be very careful with the gain

if its the grey zeus it should be putting out 300 watt into each channel @ 4ohm
wire one sub to each channel

How much room do you have to work with?

What kind of music do you listen to? I can design you something.... and to answer your question about ported... these subs yield a EBP of 134.8. They would LOVE ported or even a horn loaded design.

I listen mostly to rap music and once in awhile i throw in a bass cd.

Any info would greatly be appericated.
