If its just a motor that moves in and out instead of around in circles then it might make some kind of noise for you. It looks like a JL W7 by the pictures but trust me its not like a W7. My distributor has some of these in his warehouse that I've personnally seen and held. They make money off of them, but not from me. We nick-name un-branded stuff like this "BOINK AUDIO". Just my 2 cents.

Its likely rated for $100, 2000w amp so... I wouldnt expect it to perform like any other ~2000w woofer. The kicker will probably be fine.

Dr. Zeus,

Your post makes no sense, that looks nothing like a W7, and the other comment about a motor moving round and round?? I dunno...

Otherwise, this is an Almani sub, yes it is an off brand.... Not worth the shipping price, IMO.

EDIT: Also, their specs are ALL KINDS of messed up.

I've sold some of these subwoofers when I was in the retail biz. The S7 was considered their top of the line. Its not that bad of a woofer. My dealer cost of the this woofer at the time was 3times the price it is selling for on ebay. I would suspect it is b-stock (Recone). Performance wise it isn't much different than the REALM AUDIO version that looks similar. 2000watts rms, not likely, more like 800 thermal on vc. And pay attention to mechanical limits, spiders will rip.
