I have this Alpine amp 3522 in for repair, so far found a blown channel, replaced both outputs, went to check and amp will not power up. Here are the pin voltages off the 494:
Pin 1: 3.19 volts Pin 2: 4.90 volts Pin 3: 0.04 volts Pin 4: 00.0 volts Pin 5: 1.43 volts Pin 6: 3.51 volts Pin 7: 00.0 volts Pin 8: 12.85 volts Pin 9: 5.28 volts Pin 10: 5.28 volts Pin 11: 12.86 volts Pin 12: 12.86 volts Pin 13: 4.95 volts Pin 14: 4.95 volts Pin 15: 0.72 volts Pin 16: 0.03 volts Any idea's?? |

The IC is producing output. Are you sure that it's not producing rail voltage?

The amp has rail voltage, -19.5 and 20.9. checked led and found a loose connection. So the amp looks to be ok, need to check it with audio and see how it goes.
