I would like to ask in this forum some informations:
I am developing a car amplifier of single channel, I've done on protoboard the smps of 2.400 watts rms at 60khz it works pretty fine from a 12 volts battery source! I've done this smps with extra 400watts rms in order to amplifier work without stress at 2.000 watts rms. Now, I need to make the rest of my project that will be to create a proper smart bass pre-amp and an amplifier that really will use 2.000 rms of power at 2 ohms. I would like to ask for experts the best amp voltage for a quick bass response, I would like to create something with 2.000watts but with an ultra-fast bass repeat response in order to make my bass attack. I mean, I want something that can very quickly "gate & gate" the mosfet to bass subwoofer. My theory is that this Amp should be +90 - 90, I believe that as much high voltage, much higher will be the response as eletrons will flow more quickly into circuit is not it? correct if I am wrong...... I want to create some revolution on amplifiers ..... with some kind of mosfet driver or one ultra-fast mcu programmed in assembler or C in order to switch the mosfet with ultra-speed gate bass. Also, I would like to know more information on how to find out the maximum voltage and wattage a sub-woofer can support??? I am planning to use this Audiobahn http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/attac...1&d=1297895090 http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/attac...1&d=1297895090 |
