B&D Enterprises - Electronic Components Distributor
I have one of these in the shop and the regulator resistors (circled in photo) have been replaced. Can you tell me what they're supposed to be?

when i got this amp everything was shorted. i replaced all the power supply fets and 1 emmiter follower pair. then i replaced all of the outputs, drivers and predrivers. the amp is producing clean audio but my predrivers are getting hot. they were all originally CEN-U57/CEN-U07. it seems like somewhere i saw that perry said it was okay to replace those parts with 2N6488/2N6491 (just reroute the 3rd leg). so that's what i did for all of the drivers and predrivers. in the tutorial i see he has used the MPSW42/MPSW92, should i use those as the predrivers or did i make a mistake using the 2N6488/91's all together?

If the original transistors weren't defective, you should use them. The W42s and W92s were in a 2150 or a 2250 (don't remember). I've never tried them in this amp. The 88s and 91s should be OK but if the originals weren't defective, there's no need to use the subs. Sometimes, transistors run hot normally. It doesn't necessarily indicate that there is a problem.
Is the board in your amp easily damaged when soldering/desoldering? To date, the old Lanzar Opti-Drive amps had the worst boards but this amp seems to be worse. The amp appears that it may have had some exposure to water. I don't know if that's contributing to the weakness of the pads.

If they are not running too hot and you test it thoroughly, there's nothing wrong with using them.
