I will check that when I get home. Should I be concerned with the voltage on the gates of the power supply fets ?

No. The narrow pulse width is causing you to read a lower voltage than you would if the pulse width was at 50%. If you reduce the input voltage and the pulse width increases and the current draw remains the same, the power supply is likely working properly.

Cranking down the voltage did increase the pulse width and kept roughly the same current draw. I went from 13.8 volts to 12.5 and got this waveform :

This looks more like what I was expecting.

It appears to be OK. If you check the DC voltage on the gates, it's likely closer to what you were expecting.

Gate voltage is about 4.8-5 volts when the input voltage is cranked down.
